From JR Wakayama Station, take the JR Wakayama Line bound for Nara.

From Wakayama Station, board the JR Wakayama Line heading towards Nara.

Next, transfer to the Nankai Line at JR Hashimoto Station.

Next, transfer at JR Hashimoto Station to the Nankai Line.

From Nankai Hashimoto Station, take the Nankai Koya Line bound for Gokurakubashi.

At Nankai Hashimoto Station, take the Nankai Koya Line towards Gokurakubashi.

After approximately 42 minutes and 9 stations, arrive at Nankai Gokurakubashi Station.↓（9 stations 42 minutes）

Transfer to Koyasan Cable at Nankai Gokurakubashi Station.

Transfer to the Koyasan Cable Car at Nankai Gokurakubashi Station.↓ (about 5 minutes)

Take the Koyasan Cable “Gokurakubashi Station” bound for Koyasan

Take the Koyasan Cable Car towards Koyasan at Koyasan Cable Car's Gokurakubashi Station. (about 5 minutes, 390 yen)

Koyasan Cable "Koyasan Station" Transfer to Nankai Rinkan Bus

At Koyasan Cable Car's Koyasan Station, transfer to the Nankai Rinkan Bus. (about 1 minute walk)

Take the Nankai Rinkan bus bound for Okunoin-mae (*timetable)

Board the Nankai Rinkan Bus heading to "Okunoin-mae" (Please refer to the timetable).↓ (about 1 minute, 140 yen)

Get off at "Senjuinbashi" bus stop.

Disembark at "Senjuinbashi Bus Stop."↓ (about 5 minutes walk)

From here you can access Mt. Koya and Kongobuji Temple.

From there, it's about a 5-minute walk to Koyasan and Kongobuji Temple.

Nankai train Nankai electric railway

Nankai/WakayamaAt City Station, board the Nankai Line Limited Express bound for Namba.

At Nankai Wakayamashi Station, board the Nankai Line Express towards Namba. ↓(Required time: 52 minutes)

At Nankai-Tengachaya Station, transfer to the Nankai Koya Line Express bound for Hashimoto.

At Nankai Tenkachaya Station, transfer to the Nankai Koyasan Line Express bound for Hashimoto. ↓ (Travel time 1 hour 33 minutes)

At Nankai/Hashimoto, transfer to the Nankai Koya Line bound for Gokurakubashi.

At Nankai Hashimoto Station, transfer to the Nankai Koyasan Line bound for Gokurakubashi. ↓(Required time: 1 minute)

At Nankai Gokuraku Bridge, transfer to the Nankai Koyasan Cable bound for Koyasan.

At Nankai Gokurakubashi Station, transfer to the Nankai Koyasan Cable Car bound for Koyasan. ↓(Required time: 5 minutes)

Get off at Koyasan Cable "Koyasan Station" and transfer to "Nankai Rinkan Bus".

Disembark at "Koyasan Cable Car Koyasan Station" and transfer to the Nankai Rinkan Bus. ↓ (about 1 minute walk)

Take the Nankai Rinkan bus bound for Okunoin-mae (see timetable).

Board the Nankai Rinkan Bus heading to "Okunoin-mae" (Please refer to the timetable). ↓ (about 15 minutes)

Get off at "Senjuinbashi" bus stop.

Disembark at "Senjuinbashi Bus Stop." ↓ (about 5 minutes walk)

From here you can access Mt. Koya and Kongobuji Temple.

From there, it's about a 5-minute walk to Koyasan and Kongobuji Temple.
